About Vinh

I am a communicative jack-of-all-trades (and many places). I have worked with Communications and Design for a variety of clients such as Oxfam, CARE International, UN Women, and SNV World while based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Within Journalism, I have worked with writing, graphic design, radio, video journalism, photography, social media and communications. I have worked in several communications departments and at different places in the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, with radio, video, social media and web journalism. 

I hold an MA in Media, Peace and Conflict Studies from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica and a BA in Journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism and Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. Furthermore, I studied film and linguistics a few years at the University of Copenhagen and did two stints studying Vietnamese in Hanoi.

​As a Danish-Vietnamese citizen of the world, I am fluent in English and have worked with translating to Danish for years. I am also comfortable with French, German, Spanish, Swedish and Vietnamese.

My interests cover my wonderful little son and beautiful wife, languages, TV, movies, typography, travelling, communication(s), international NGO and organisational work.
